Be sure to "refresh" your pages from time to time...you may miss an "update" if you don't.  Who knows, I may say something you actually find interesting. ALSO.. there's music... if you're not using Internet Explorer, you may not hear it.  I'll tend to that one of these days.

WELCOME TO JOY'S

2004

"My soul has had enough chicken soup, it wants some chocolate" !!

If a man says something in the woods & no women are there, is he still wrong?

In case you can't figure it out.. "Yes" is the answer!

Welcome to my Blueridge Mountains

As those of you who visit my site on occasion will notice,  things are changing again !

Just a little secret between "us"... I find 18-wheelers &  motorcycles to be just wayyyyy past sexy.  That will NEVER change!!! I like the way it feels handling both.   Don't ask why.....just appreciate it.

When it comes to men... again preferably,  the "Yankee variety":

"Road Kings" & "fine art in chaps"---just a "fine ride"!!

Can't explain it, don't want to.. just is...

I'm going to have to investigate this "just is" business one of these days.... the theory is good, just not sure of the application!

SOUTHERN FROM HEAD TO TOE....

....and being a smidgeon over  5' 8,  that's a lot of "Southern".....

Mark Twain said, "Southerners speak music..."

No one ever mentioned which tune we were singing;  however...

I'm inclined towards Rock'N'Roll myself.

I love our confederate flag, and I've grown weary of hearing "take it down"...

So HUSH !!

I don't care to debate the issue with you, if you don't agree with me, there's a blue zillion other places on the net you can be!   AND, before you leave,   turn your cap around to it's proper position!!!

Of a personal note, and naturally of no consequence to most; however; we  have through the years, lost the  "Southern" way of life.    The "Southern Gentleman" is a dying breed, gone the way of the dinosaur, as did the true "old bikers".   I look at the  Confederate flag and it brings stories to mind of how the "Southern Belle" was treated years ago, and how my Mother raised me. I can choose not to remember the blood baths, and the origins of the war if I want, which by the way, slavery was not the MAIN issue, although an important one !!!  (Study your history,--remember the English ???--- then speak to me about it.  Don't just "spout off",--- same with biblical reference, study the history-then we'll talk).

Guess the  males of whom I find interesting,  were raised by mothers who at least,  understood the concept of "Southern charm" and it's importance.  Possibly they knew "charm" and being "gracious" were traits worth cultivating.

There has to be a true "Southern Gentleman" somewhere in the South; guess we've just missed in passing....maybe I should slow the bike ?
